Antey Saint André is located in a strategic point, it fact it is at the centre of 5 ski stations. We are near Cervinia, but Torgnon and Chamois are just a stroll away.
Just 2 km away you can take the cable car and reach the ski complexes of “Chamois. By car, only 6 km away, you can reach the villages of "La Magdeleine" and "Torgnon "(both with ski slopes for cross country and downhill).
To reach the ski complex of Cervinia you can go to Valtournenche (10 km) or directly to Cervinia (19 km).
Skiing Domain VALTOURNENCHE/CERVINIA/ZERMATT (at 10 km from our residence)
If you like skiing you can't miss Breuil Cervinia, an experience you won't forget for sure. There's the mythical sight of the Matterhorn, "the most famous rock in Europe", in such a way described by a charmed guest.
An incredible skiing area at your disposal. Plenty of slopes connected with Valtournenche and Zermatt. All the most recent and up-to- date lift facilities avoid the danger of long tiresome queues.
The chance to reach very high areas, like Plateau Rosà at 3480 metres and the Little Matterhorn at 3883 metres, allows you to enjoy spectacular views. The different kind of slopes, able for any level, are always very well prepared due to the usual copious snow falls and to the snow making machines. In addition, you can practice cross-country skiing, ice-skating, swimming in warm and covered swimming-pools, excursions by ski-doo, snowshoes walking, and more modern activities like kite-sailing, snowbike, paragliding, etc.
You can have fun in many ways and not just skiing but, for example, having a rest in a pleasant coffee-bar situated along the slopes. Then, at the end of the day, why not having a meal in one of the nice local restaurants or going to a movie or to a fashionable disco?

TORGNON (at 6 km from our Residence)
The area provides different types of recreation, sport and leisure in an incomparable environment. For ski lovers, Torgnon has a fine range of facilities: the slopes guarantee enjoyment to both competitors and to those skiing for pleasure and, as they are situated in a gentle hollow, they are also suitable for children and beginners.
The infrastructure comprises a cable car, two chair lifts, one drag lift, a nursery slope lift and a play park on the snow with two conveyer belts. The downhill slopes, equipped with artificial snowmakers, cover about 20 km. The cross-country tracks, consisting of a number of circuits of varying lenght and difficulty, provide fun in contact with nature - in addition to magnificent views of the Matterhorn.
The "Snow Park" is located in the basin of Chantorné along the quad chairlift, and a total length of 300 meters.
In the initial layout are three lines, a jump with 2 tabletop with 6 kiker from 4 m to 14 m, a rail line with 13 rails and boxes that come up to 9 meters and a line with easy Woop and small kiker for beginners.
The "Winter park" contains two conveyer belts serving a ski school, and various runs for rafts, sledges and snow scoots, and includes two inflatables (giant slide and bouncy castle), a trampoline, activity frame, swing and, for the very little, soft toys.

CHAMOIS (at 2 km from our Residence)
Chamois is the highest municipality in Aosta Valley at an altitude of 1,800 m asl. It can only be reached by cable car from Buisson (in Antey Saint André) and owes its fame to this very fact. No cars, complete silence, life that revolves around a warm fireplace and a good book; the charm of Chamois is in these simple things.
It is immersed in nature and is the perfect alternative to the typical resorts, no coincidence therefore that it is known as “the pearl of the Alps”. Chamois is truly beautiful with its old wood and stone houses of once upon a time: only the ski system, with its modern facilities, the skiers with their bright colours and the lift systems (three two-seater chairlifts for a total of 12 runs), remind us that Chamois has also entered the third millennium.
This “pearl of the Alps” boasts no record-breaking numbers in terms of lifts or ski runs, its core strength is in the nature of the village, appreciated by those in search of something truly different from what is normally offered in winter in mountain resorts.
Chamois promises holidays that are perfect for those who love going on snowshoe excursions (the nearby Lod Lake is worth a trip) or those whom enjoy sunsets over the valley; a spectacle of light and shadows created by the sun that slowly disappears behind the Grandes Murailles mountain range.
